Steve Tucker (AREC) – Managing Director
Steve is Doncaster born and bred joining South Yorkshire Police as a cadet upon leaving school at 16. Promoted up through the ranks he spent time working in Durham and Sheffield where he became Inspector, managing the Force’s communications. He then went on to become Chief Inspector based in Adwick before moving to Force Operations heading up the Firearms Unit. As part of his remit as a senior manager he became a European Assessor for European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) assessing the management performance of a number of businesses within Yorkshire and in Bilbao, Spain.
His role was pivotal, being responsible for recruiting the correct candidates for specialist roles including Control Room Staff, Bodyguards, Snipers and the Firearms Support Group.
Steve lives in Scawthorpe with his wife Jane. They have 3 children, Helena, Bethany and Charlie.
